At the meeting, the compiling unit introduced the basic conditions of key products in the electrolytic aluminum industry, the scope of application of the “Guidelines”, the specific requirements and content of energy conservation monitoring, and the calculation scope and methods of energy consumption of product processes. The participating experts gave detailed comments on the comprehensiveness, operability, normativeness, and guidance of the Guide. The formulation of the “Guide” will play a positive role in promoting the unification, standardization, and improvement of the energy conservation supervision in the electrolytic aluminum industry in the country.
