The Trilateral Measures of the Inspection and Quarantine Bureau boosted the export of footwear

Since the beginning of this year, a total of 7 batches and 34,600 pairs of footwear have been exported from the inspection and quarantine bureau area, with a value of $91,700. Among them, five batches were exported to Japan and the United States was one batch.

All along, the inspection and quarantine bureau area mainly focuses on exporting aquatic products. Due to the generally small scale of the enterprises in the area, combined with the seasonal factors of strong aquatic products, large islands and stormy weather, and prohibition of fishing, many factors affect the local water supply. The increase or decrease in the export of products is extremely unstable, which restricts economic development. The export of footwear products is a new business developed in the jurisdiction of the Bureau. Since the first time in the United States, the stable export of footwear products has become an effective means to develop foreign emerging markets.

In order to facilitate the smooth export of footwear products, the Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Scorpio has conducted in-depth research and guidance on the company's on-site visits and adopted three measures to boost the export of footwear products. The first is to seriously define the contents and requirements for classified management of footwear products within the catalogue, enhance the sense of responsibility of the company, and further improve the level of quality management and export quality of footwear products. The second is to strengthen the standardization and effectiveness of inspection supervision. In order to meet the needs of new business development, the Bureau strengthened business training, broadened the inspection level of first-line workers, increased support for enterprises, helped companies regulate production and established a product quality assurance system, and promoted the production and footwear products. Exports are gradually on the right track. The third is to seriously analyze the existing difficulties of the company, grasp the latest developments in the industry, help enterprises to correctly analyze the situation facing the export trade, and timely solve the enterprises in the footwear export business needs the cooperation of inspection and quarantine departments.
