The Weldclass WC-03338 universal 4m gas hose kit for Argon or CO² gas includes a range of fittings, to suit almost any brand or model of MIG or TIG welder.

The following instructions illustrate some of the different hose configurations that can be assembled with this kit.

This hose kit is primarily intended for connecting the gas regulator (cylinder) to the welding machine, however it can also be used to extend existing gas hoses.

How to fit hose clamps

Hose clamps can be crimped with pincers or side-cutting pliers.  Kit will include 2 sizes of clamps slightly different in diameter, use the smaller diameter on the 5mm ID x 4m hose (A) and the larger diameter clamps on 8mm ID hose (only required for configuration 4 as below).

 

 

Assembly Configurations

As follows are some of the many different configurations that are possible with this hose kit.

 

Suits machines with common Ø9mm male quick-connect plug.

 

 

 

 

Cut a short (50-100mm) length of hose from the 4m hose (A), and fit to machine. Remainder of 4m hose can then be attached to this via the quick-coupling fittings.

 

Fit the 100mm length of 8mm ID hose (B) to the machine, then use the reducer fitting (G) to attach the 5mm ID x 4m hose (A).
Suits some Weldclass 160MST, 180MST and 200MST welding machines.

Universal Arc Brick

Low porosity clay bricks are made of ruby, mullite and combined clay as the main raw materials, molded under high pressure and sintered at high temperature. Low porosity clay bricks have good stability, the degree of erosion does not occur sudden change, than ordinary clay bricks use cycle increased 2-3 times. Thermal conductivity, specific heat and solubility, respectively, than ordinary clay bricks 2 times higher than 10% and 40%, heat storage capacity than ordinary clay bricks higher than 50% -60%, can improve the thermal efficiency of the kiln.
