The Ministry of Science and Technology released a news on July 3, and the pioneering results of the key technologies for diesel engine post-processing that meet the Euro VI emission standards supported by the “863” program have been developed, and diesel engine exhaust with independent intellectual property rights and meeting Euro VI emission standards has been developed. The post-contamination integration technology and products have filled the domestic gap and achieved good social and economic benefits.

According to the research plan, based on the research on domestic and foreign diesel engine after-treatment technology research, based on the research of oxidation catalytic converter (DOC), selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and soot combustion reaction mechanism, the research group completed DOC, SCR and The development of CDPF (catalyst-coated diesel particulate filter) catalyst coatings has formed a catalyst solution that meets the target performance, and has completed the amplification production and performance verification of DOC and SCR. In terms of carrier production, through the screening of raw materials and process optimization, the research and development of 13-inch large carrier and particle trap carrier has been partially completed, breaking the monopoly position of imported products.

The staged results of the project show that the functions and performance of the post-processing system with independent intellectual property rights have partially caught up with or reached the level of similar foreign advanced products, filling the domestic gap and breaking the passive situation of long-term dependence on technology or product imports in this field. The research team combines demonstration application with industrialization, and makes useful explorations for the promotion and application of independent innovation products. It has implemented the collaborative innovation model of “production, learning, research and use” and improved China's comprehensive strength in this technology. . It is understood that the results are in line with the national "first set" policy, and the "first set" policy is an important policy to encourage and support high-end manufacturing and major technological equipment innovation, and promote high-end equipment manufacturing industry through various measures such as subsidies and taxes. It is understood that the NOx emission limit in the Euro VI emission standard is reduced to 0.46g/kWh, which is 75% lower than the Euro V limit; the PM index is reduced to 0.01mg/kWh, which is 66% lower than the Euro V. The Euro VI emission standard was implemented on January 1, 2013. From January 1, 2014, all new trucks and buses must be equipped with Euro VI certified engines.

At present, diesel exhaust has become one of the main sources of pollution in the country. The annual consumption of diesel in China has reached 125 million tons, and continues to increase at a rate of 5% to 6% per year. Therefore, the state's requirements for vehicle exhaust emission standards and oil quality are constantly increasing, and strict requirements are imposed on sulfur content, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon content, and cetane number in diesel. In foreign countries, companies represented by Emitec, Emcon Purification Technology and HJS have made good achievements in the research and development of exhaust gas after-treatment technology. However, the emission levels of domestic diesel engines (especially NOx and PM emissions) are far from the Euro VI emission standards. The upgrade of diesel quality has become one of the top tasks of refining and chemical enterprises.
