Then slowly drive the pump shaft, in the case of bending the shaft, the dial indicator has a maximum reading and a minimum reading per revolution, the difference between the two readings indicates the degree of bending of the shaft. Radial runout of the general shaft is: no more than 0.05 mm in the middle, no more than 0.02 mm at both ends.
