How to identify soybean deficiency syndrome

(1) Nitrogen deficiency: First, the true leaves are yellow, and when it is severe, it will yellow from the bottom to the top of the new leaves. There are parallel continuous or discontinuous iron plaques along the veins on the compound leaves. The chlorotic spreads from the tip to the base, and the whole leaves are pale yellow, and the veins are also green. The leaves are small and thin, easy to fall off, and the stems are slender.
(2) Phosphorus deficiency: less nodules, slender stems, dark green leaves in the lower part of the plant, thick leaves, uneven, narrow and long. When the phosphorus deficiency is serious, the veins are yellowish brown, and the whole leaves are yellow.
(3) Potassium deficiency: yellowing of the leaves, the symptoms develop from the lower leaves to the upper leaves. The edge of the leaf begins to produce chlorotic spots, which expand into pieces, which are connected by plaques and spread to the center of the leaves, and only green around the veins. Yellow leaves are difficult to recover, the leaves are thin and easy to fall off. Plants with severe potassium deficiency can only develop to the pod stage. The roots are short and the nodules are few. The plants are thin.
(4) Boron deficiency: The leaves are thick green, thick, and the internodes are shortened and dwarfed to form clusters. The flower buds turn white or pale brown and the tissue is necrotic. In severe cases, burning necrotic spots are formed along the veins.
(5) Deficient molybdenum: Firstly, the leaf color of the leaf veins of the leaves becomes lighter, and the yellowing is similar to the symptoms of nitrogen deficiency. When the soybean is deficient in molybdenum, the leaves are prone to taupe spots and wilted due to tissue water loss. In general, the symptoms of new leaves are not obvious.
