According to reports, the Japanese mobile operator Softbank announced today that it will soon sell a smartphone equipped with a radiation detector to meet the domestic concerns of the Fukushima nuclear accident that occurred one year ago.

The smart phone will be categorized into Softbank's Pantone series, which offers eight colors. Built-in Sharp's custom-built IC chip can measure the micro-Siphon amount per hour. The phone will be available this summer and will not only measure nuclear radiation directly, but also track where the user has measured.
After the March 11 earthquake last year, Sun Zhiyi bluntly expressed his criticism of nuclear power and supported renewable energy sources. He believes that smart phones are more portable and easier to use than traditional Geiger counters.
Softbank has not yet announced the price of this smart phone, but Sun Justice said that the final pricing will be within an affordable range.
