In production, in order to avoid the adhesive during annealing, a MgO type release agent is generally adopted, that is, a layer of inorganic material with stable properties is applied on the surface of the steel sheet at a high temperature, which may cause moisture on the surface of the steel sheet and deteriorate the steel sheet. Magnetic properties. JFE Japan has developed a new method without a release agent, the technical points:

1. Technical prerequisites:

It is important to control the S and Se content as low as possible, which is an important prerequisite for continuous annealing treatment without coating annealing separator.

2, production points:

1) hot rolling after the slab is heated to below 1250 ° C;

2) The hot rolled sheet is annealed at 800-1100 ° C;

3) Perform two or more cold rolling on the annealed hot rolled sheet, and perform an annealing treatment between the two cold rolling. If decarburization is required, the first recrystallization annealing should be carried out under a humid atmosphere; without decarburization, the first recrystallization treatment can be carried out under a dry atmosphere;

4) After the first recrystallization, a second recrystallization annealing treatment is performed at 700-1000 ° C, and the annealing time must be above 5 h;

5) The temperature of continuous annealing treatment without annealing separator is higher than 1100 °C, and the annealing time should not exceed 30 min (in 10 min, it is more favorable to obtain excellent magnetic properties). The annealing atmosphere may be an Ar atmosphere, and a gas such as H2 and He may also be used as the gas for the final annealing atmosphere.

According to the test results of thick-oriented electrical steel with thickness of 0.20mm developed by JFE, the iron loss value (W17/50) of the steel is 0.584-0.648 W/kg, indicating that the electrical properties of the electrical steel are very good.
