Therefore, reducing the moisture content of the stone can avoid the occurrence of stone rust yellow. Other preventive measures are as follows:

1. Before the installation of the stone, the protective work shall be carried out to prevent water from intruding into the slate to avoid oxidation of the iron-containing minerals with water and oxygen in the air to cause rust yellow.

Second, when cleaning the stone, avoid using acid-containing detergent to clean, because the acidic material is easy to dissolve the stone iron mineral, and then further react with water and air to cause rust yellow.

Third, when the stone is installed in the dry method, the stainless steel holding parts should be carefully selected to avoid the hanging pieces, and the rust will spread to the surface of the stone to form rust yellow. After the decoration of the stone saw wear, the reprotectant should be applied once to prevent the rust yellow from spreading to the surface and forming pollution.

There are iron-containing minerals in the interior of marble, such as iron carbonate, iron sulfide, iron silicate minerals, etc. Usually iron-containing minerals are more stable with iron silicate minerals, and iron sulfide is the most unstable, therefore, unstable sulfurization Iron can be said to be the cause of the largest rust yellow pollution on the stone surface.
