The Tanker Sampler meets the national standard GB/T 2289 "Sampling Method for Coking Viscous Oil Products."
When using the Tanker Sampler, first lift the heavy shovel to position the sampling tube vertically above the liquid surface. Slowly lower the tube to the bottom of the tank, close the shovel, and then carefully pull it back up. Wipe off any excess oil on the surface with a clean cloth and transfer the sample into a clean, dry container. The total sample volume should be at least 2000ml.
Tanker Sampler Specifications: Made of stainless steel, with a diameter of φ32mm and length of 3200mm. The heavy weight at the bottom allows the tube to reach the top of the pipe easily.
Note: Ensure the sampling device is installed properly at the outlet pipeline to ensure the samples collected are representative.
Before sampling, make sure the pressure inside the tank or cabin is normal or near atmospheric pressure.
Always stand upwind and wear appropriate protective equipment during sampling.
After sampling, clean the device thoroughly to prevent contamination in future use.
Ensure the oil has sufficient fluidity before sampling to avoid blockage or inaccurate results.
