Introduction to Lycoris Planting Skills
Temperature : Many members of Lycoris love the warm climate. Amaryllis, Manjusri, Spider Lily, Purple Flower, Onion, Cymbidium and Fireball are all suitable for flat cultivation. The fertility temperature of Lycoris radiata and Clivia is between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius, which is more suitable for planting in the north. Clivia should avoid excessive heat and humidity in summer. The narcissus is cool and cold, and the flat land can only be planted in the winter and spring. The hanging flower and the kangaroo foot should be planted at medium and high altitudes.
Sunshine: Most of the Amaryllidaceae flower bulbs are grown in a sunny environment. They are suitable for full-sun or half-day sunshine. Insufficient light can cause poor flowering.
Soil : Generally speaking, bulbous flowers are not picky about the soil . The root soil of many bulbs is very dry, but it is still brilliant, but if it can provide organic soil-rich loam or sandy loam, it can make it long. More beautiful. The soil drainage should be good, otherwise the bulbs will perish easily.
Fertilizer : The growth season of bulbous flowers is long. Before planting, sufficient organic fertilizer should be buried. After every two months, topdressing should be applied once. Homemade compost compost or three-factor fertilizer should be used. The proportion of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer should be emphasized to promote bulb development and flowering.
Moisture : The underground stems of bulbous flowers make them more tolerant of water deficiency, but in well-drained soils, sufficient water is needed to make them fully grow. When the topsoil is dry and grayish, they should be replenished with water. When the leaves are gradually withered, the golden flowers and the fireballs should be slowly reduced. Once they enter the dormant period, they should not be watered or fertilized.
