At present, sugar cane is in an extended period, which is a critical period for topdressing. Most of the topdressing should be carried out during this period. The technical measures are as follows:
The amount of topdressing (1) mountain. The general output is between 3 and 4 tons, the application rate is 5.5-6 kg of pure nitrogen (10-13 kg equivalent of urea), 5-6 kg of pure potassium (8-10 kg of potassium chloride); (2) flat land (High yield of paddy fields) and other fields with high yields (5 to 6 tons of production). The amount of fertilizer applied is 7 to 8.5 kg of pure nitrogen (15 to 18 kg of urea), 7 to 8 kg of pure potassium (10 to 13 kg of potassium chloride), and (3) high-yield fields of 7 tons or more per mu. Acre of pure nitrogen 10 ~ 11 kg (equivalent to urea 20 ~ 25 kg), pure potassium 10 ~ 11 kg (equivalent to potassium chloride 16 ~ 20 kg). Phosphate fertilizer is generally used as a base fertilizer, and top dressing is supplemented when the base fertilizer is insufficient.
Fertilization method Fertilization is generally carried out after rain or when the soil is wet. The application of top dressing should be carried out in combination with large soil, which can reduce the workload and improve work efficiency. After the weeds are removed first, the mixed fertilizer strips are applied (or applied) to the cane to 10 cm and covered with thick soil.
Points to note:
(1) It is strictly forbidden to spread the fertilizer on the cane to prevent the sprouting of the base of the sugarcane seedlings from affecting the sprouting of the root cane in the coming year.
(2) Do not apply fertilizer before heavy rain to prevent rainwater from taking away fertilizer.
(3) When the soil is dry, it is not fertilized, so as not to reduce the drought resistance of sugar cane. If ammonium bicarbonate is used, generally 1 kg of urea is equivalent to 2.5 to 2.6 kg of ammonium bicarbonate.
