A ¢360/960×1450mm cold rolling mill newly commissioned by Dengdian Aluminium Processing Co., Ltd. was successfully tested in September and will enter normal production in October.
The company started construction in 1997 and has two ¢680×1600mm casting mills, two ¢1000×1850mm casting mills, and one irreversible full-hydraulic cold rolling mill of ¢380/1050×1800mm. The annual production of plates and belts Foil capacity up to 60,000 tons. The company's original 380/1050×1800mm cold-rolling mill has a single product type that cannot meet the needs of users. It is especially costly when producing narrow materials, which reduces the company’s profit margin. In order to meet user requirements, the company decided to go on a new ¢360/960×1450mm cold rolling mill and specialize in producing narrow material. Under the circumstances that the liquidity is very difficult, the company raised funds in multiple ways and overcome difficulties. In May 2006, the company began to install the ¢360/960×1450mm cold rolling mill. The installation was completed at the end of July, creating a relatively short time for domestic rolling mill installation. . The power of the main motor of this rolling mill is large, and the cooling system is all water-cooled. Larger rolling force can reduce the number of rolling passes, can increase productivity, and effectively reduce the production cost of narrower materials.
The rolling mill is designed to have a thin thickness of 0.08mm and is rolled to 0.06mm during the test run. At present, it is planned to be put into use. In the future, it will mainly produce PS plate base blanks. The putting into operation of the rolling mill has a positive effect on product diversification, product structure adjustment and new product development, and will create a new economic growth point for the aluminum processing company.
