According to the US "Wall Street Journal" reported on May 16, Google driverless cars are about to leave the park to enter the public road.
Google said in a blog post that several standard car models will be tested on the streets near Mountain View, Calif., where the company's headquarters are located this summer.
This is not the first time Google has driven a driverless car onto a public road. Previously, Google had tested the improved Lexus Sport utility vehicle. But this is Google's first trial run of its small fleet.
