Häfele held a distributor meeting in Germany

From July 21 to 22, 2014, Häfele Hardware (China) Co., Ltd., a leading global supplier of furniture hardware, construction hardware, and electronic lock access control systems, hosted its annual national distributor meeting at its headquarters in Beijing. Over 60 representatives from across the country attended the event, marking a significant gathering of key players in the industry. During the two-day conference, participants reviewed and analyzed Häfele’s retail sales performance from 2013. They also engaged in discussions about future market trends and how to adapt their strategies in areas such as sales, product development, logistics, marketing, and training. The meeting provided a platform for dealers to share their insights, concerns, and suggestions on various operational challenges. Häfele also conducted comprehensive training sessions for the dealer representatives, covering updates and changes in their product lines. The company introduced new retail storefront designs, packaging concepts, and a store-in-store sales model that would be rolled out nationwide. Detailed presentations were given, followed by thorough Q&A sessions to ensure clarity and understanding. Rupert Sbydorf, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Häfele Greater China, emphasized the importance of "innovation, cooperation, and win-win" during his speech. He stated, "Dealers are crucial partners for Häfele. Beyond just selling products, they represent mutual understanding, collaboration, and shared growth. We always pay close attention to the needs of our dealers at different stages of development, actively listen to their feedback, and work together to achieve long-term success." In addition to the formal discussions, Mr. Roderick, the national retail manager at Häfele, recognized outstanding distributors from 2013. Shanghai Huayu Store, Hangzhou Huayu Store, and Changsha Kaifule Store were awarded first, second, and third places respectively. To deepen the understanding of Häfele’s operations, the delegates were invited to visit the company’s exhibition hall, studio, and three-dimensional warehouse, combining theory with hands-on experience. After the meeting, the attendees visited a renowned winery in Beijing. There, they witnessed the entire wine-making process and enjoyed a tasting session, immersing themselves in the culture of wine and experiencing a relaxing connection with nature. This meeting not only reinforced the cooperative relationships between Häfele and its dealers but also strengthened mutual trust and understanding. It marked a step forward in deepening collaborations with regular retailers, aiming for greater achievements in the future.
