According to Vietnam’s Tuoitrenews website on October 21, Tran Thanh Thanh from Ben Tre in southern Vietnam recently invented a pumpkin-shaped wind turbine and was awarded a patent by the Vietnam State Intellectual Property Office.
The wind turbine is 2 meters in diameter and has 10 blades that can catch wind from different directions. After capturing these winds, the wind energy is first stored in the battery and can be used directly after converting to 220V via a power transformer. Household appliances such as lights, fans, televisions and irons can rely on this generator to supply electricity.
Chen Qingqing said that every family needs such a generator that can provide enough power for the family. He also said: "Usually a generator needs 15 million VND (about 4325 yuan), the battery can be used for 5 years, and the overall working life is 10 years. However, this pumpkin-shaped generator is regularly maintained and used. Life will be longer."
Chen Qingqing said that his inspiration comes from riding a bicycle - no need to generate electricity, just rely on stamping to get power. As a result, he began to design generators to prepare for the days of "power cuts." Although people around him told him that it was only a waste of time, he did not give up his thoughts.
Today, many companies have tried to cooperate with Chen Qingqing and hope to introduce this pumpkin-type generator product. However, Chen Yiyi refused. He hoped to set up his own company through bank loans and sell the machine he invented. (Lin Hao)
